You receive the Magic Organ Accordion Foldable Cat Scratching Board (item code PET-74017) with a toy bell already attached. The board is approximately 24 × 24 × 11 cm and weighs around 330 g. No tools or batteries are required — it’s ready to use straight out of the box.

The accordion fold lets you compress the board into a compact peak, fan it open flat as a lounger, or arch it into a bridge shape. You can also use it at intermediate positions — the board holds its shape thanks to the corrugated structure. Reconfigure it whenever your cat loses interest to make it feel new again.

Corrugated cardboard — the same material cats instinctively love for scratching. The accordion fold is created from layered corrugated sheets that flex repeatedly without falling apart. No harmful adhesives, no synthetic fibres. The toy bell attachment is the only non-cardboard component.

The most common reason cats ignore scratchers is that the material or angle does not match their natural scratching preference. The corrugated texture gives genuine claw feedback, and the ability to reconfigure means you can find the angle and height that works for your cat. Try placing it near the furniture they currently favour — proximity to their preferred spot matters more than any other placement factor.

Spot-clean with a dry cloth or a slightly damp cloth. Avoid soaking the board — cardboard and water are a poor combination. If the outer surface becomes heavily shredded, you can flip or rotate the board to present a fresh surface.

This depends entirely on how enthusiastically your cat uses it. A dedicated scratcher can wear the surface down relatively quickly; a cat who uses it moderately will find it lasts longer. The board can be flipped to extend its useful life. When it is worn out, it can go in your cardboard recycling.
